38 W Update!

This is my sorry excuse for a weekly update. I don't feel like finding one right now, just want to go over it real fast.

We are now 38 weeks along!
Little miss weighs around 6.8 lbs, and is around 19.75 in long, (guess we'll know how accurate that is pretty soon).
I have gained a total of 27lbs.
I'm still wearing a mixture of clothes.
We of course are having a girl!
I've been feeling icky more often lately, and tired.
The contractions come and go as always.
I love spicy chicken sandwiches from Wendy's lately.
I dislike everything at some point.
I can't believe we've made it this far.
It's a great blessing to have held her in so long and even past the full term 37 w mark. She's going to be a March baby. Wow.

Wordless Wednesday

Any day now...

Any day now I will become a mom...

Skyler will become a dad...
and of course Scout a big puppy brother :)
(cheesy and strange I know, but I definitely love the little guy)

Yesterday I stayed busy, Skyler & I rearranged our living room, went shopping for new furniture and just cleaned. It was able to get some contractions going last night, and even a few so far today, I'm hoping once my lazy butt gets up and starts getting ready for the day and goes out shopping again that they'll pick up. I can't wait to see my little girl. To put bows on her head, put her in cute little dresses and adorable outfits. To have her blessed, and sealed to our family. To be able to kiss and hold her little hands and feet :) I can't wait. Every day I feel more prepared for her, every day she's putting on more weight and she's protected inside, getting stronger.

Oh and if you haven't noticed I am now on twitter, check over to the left. I try and leave some info here and there. So if you don't hear from me for a while sometimes just look over there and see what's going on :)

37 W Appt

I finally made it a week without gaining a pound. It was nice. I'm still at my 25lb mark. Hopefully I'll stay there. I waited for half an hour yesterday to get seen, blood pressure, urine, weight, heart beat, measurements, all good. Cervix still at a 1 but more thinned. So we walked around the mall, a little, I went to Lowes for 3 hours with my family, ate a spicy smothered burrito, scrubbed the kitchen floor, walked downstairs a few times, played table soccer (cause I can't think of how to spell that), ate some spicy chicken, and only a few contractions all day. It's funny how before she wanted out, she kept pushing her luck and now she doesn't seem to care. I'm so glad she has made it full term but I'm extremely anxious and excited to meet her. Let's hope she comes soon :)

37 Weeks! FULL TERM!!!

How far along? 37 Weeks--Full Term!!!

Baby's size and stats? Our baby is now considered "full term," even though my due date is three weeks away. If I would go into labor now, her lungs will likely be mature enough to fully adjust to life outside the womb. Info taken from pregnancy.com

Gain? Still a total of 25lbs, but I'll find out tomorrow at my appt what damage this week has done.

Maternity clothes?Been wearing the maternity pants A LOT this week, but I've also been wearing more dresses

Sleep? Sleep has been a pain. It takes so much to move over and the pain is ridiculous!!

Foods I am loving? Spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's... umm... cup of noodles!

Foods I am hating? Still greasy stuff, and meat

Best moment this week? Knowing we made it to 37 weeks! Also knowing that I was 1 cm and 50%!

Movement? Yup, she's a busy body, though the last couple days she's slowed down with her moving.

Symptoms/Emotions?
1. Excited!! She can come anytime now!!
2. Relief knowing that she is full term.
3. Anxious as to when she'll come
4. Contractions

Gender? A GIRL!!!

What I'm looking forward to? Her being here!!

Milestones: Being full term & officially stopping the terbutaline!!

In need of a decent title

First off The Undomestic Momma is hosting a giveaway for Mary Katherine's Willow House, which has absolutely adorable stuff!! Check it out!!

Today is mine & Skyler's 2 1/2 year anniversary mark! I can't believe we've been married that long, we've also been a couple for 38 months now :). I know it's not much in comparison to most, but this is the absolute longest relationship for both of us, my longest was about 5 months, and his longest was around that too, maybe 3 months? So we're really on a roll!

I also will be updating yesterday's blog with a few pictures of me at 36W2D. I'm trying to take more pictures now that she is open to come between now and March 12th, though I'd prefer it to be after church Sunday, (I have a temple recommend interview so Skyler & I can be sealed together this spring, and I want to make it to that :] ) After church we'll be enjoying a nice walk through the park as long as weather permits it. :)

I have my ward baby shower tomorrow, can't wait to see what that brings :) Hopefully even just a few things, seeing as I don't know very many people, just more like recognize faces and say hi at church, nothing more. It seems like they all know me very well though, it seems like the relief society presidency are doing a real good job at keeping people updated about me.

Well should get ready for the day now :)

Have a great one!!

Giveaway Info & another Dr's Appt

Another quick thought about a giveaway, Shannon from Eat Pray Love Live, is hosting another giveaway this time with Charity's Etsy shop and her adorable bows, found here! Definitely check both blogs and the Etsy Shop out!

** Looks like I missed yesterday's giveaway again from Shannon, (see blog link above) this time from her own Etsy Shop! She is so creative! I wouldn't of thought of making scents!**

36 W 2 D appointment.

I was hoping to blog about this yesterday but was miserable feeling and still not feeling the hottest right now. I have gained a total of 25 lbs. Everything came back great for the Group B Strep test, no problems there. Blood pressure and urine both great. Then came the exam. Holy $h!t!! I wanted to scream. I'm a full 1 cm dilated, 50% effaced, which is a big change from last week (I know it means nothing, but it's starting at least) TMI ALERT!! I have never seen a glove come back so bloody after an exam. It was painful. Cramping all day yesterday and so much pain down there I couldn't move at all yesterday without wanting to cry. Oh, doc said he felt her head. It's down where it needs to be. He also said to stay on bed rest till Sunday, since he'll be out of town Saturday and half day Sunday to visit his new grand-daughter. I can officially stop taking my Terbutaline Friday night, AHHH!! It's so close. I have my second baby shower on Thursday and Saturday Skyler and I will be buying all the other stuff that we need, like the pump and such.

Hope everyone is doing well!!

Random Thoughts...

Just wanted to post some thoughts right now. Abigail could be here anytime now, especially after last night (lots of contractions 2-3 mins apart for over an hour, was finally able to get them to stop though). I have a doctor's appointment at 10:15 tomorrow, I'm sure after getting checked things will take a serious turn towards her being here. I still haven't been able to recover completely from the last check. Though I wasn't and will not be able to have the nursery decorated how I want it before she gets here, I can't wait to get started on all the cute stuff after she's home. I've absolutely loved getting everything into it's place for her, as I sit on my bed I look to the corner of my room and see her bassinet, stocked with diapers, wipes and a change of clothes and blankets, next week that bassinet could have a baby in it, my baby. Her car seat is in the car, along with her diaper bag, waiting for my hospital bag to join it, which it will tonight, I will have everything ready to go by tonight. Everything is in Skyler's car, so even if he's at work he doesn't have to go home, he's just able to drive straight to the hospital. The last few loads of laundry are being done right now and finished off tonight, the dishes are waiting to be put in the washer. My nails are painted, my legs will be shaved by tonight.

Everything is falling into place and I can't wait for her to be here. Yes I'm nervous about the delivery, but I'm so ready. I'm nervous about the IV and the Epidural (just pain wise), that's it. I trust my doctor and I know that everything will be okay.

** The rest of this was added this morning.**

Legs are shaved, hospital bag is packed and with Skyler in the car. My last 2 loads of laundry are almost done, which reminds me I need to head downstairs and move that over. I just need to throw the memory card into my camera and clean out my purse, my poor purse is full of everything. A lot of which I'm not sure how it ended up there or how long it's been there. Everything that doesn't belong there will find a new home soon. I've officially made it to Valentine's day, that's a big step. I wonder if we'll have a Valentine's baby, though I highly doubt it. I see the end of the week being a bigger possibility though. My appointment is in 2 hours and 45 minutes. I'm ready/not ready. I wish Skyler could be there. Instead my mom will be there, and my 2 1/2 yr old nephew. I love them both, but my mom has a big mouth, any information that my doctor gives me she has to tell everyone. I don't need her giving a play by play of what's going in down there. I just have so much running through my head right now, and not enough time/patience to type it all out.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!

Baby Shower Pictures!

So I just copied this right off my cousin's wife's blog. It's not going to be very interesting just a bunch of pictures for me to remember this day with...

All the beautiful gifts.

This beautiful thing is a blessing gown. My grandma made it from left over pieces of my wedding dress.

My cousin's wife & I. The only picture I got with someone. Good thing she decided to bring a camera, no one else but me were prepared and no one would take my camera... jerks...

Giveaway Info & Dr's Appt

Morning! Before I get into the dr's appointment info, just wanted to tell you about ANOTHER awesome giveaway... this time you can check it out here. It's a bag by Charm Designs, and they are all beautiful!!

So all weekend starting early Saturday I'd been having some real bad contractions, ick! These lasted up through Monday, and even had a few at the my appointment, well they decided since I'd been having them constantly still to go ahead and check...

Dr: What did the hospital tell you, you were dilated to?
Me: Nothing.
Dr: Nothing? Well you're definitely not nothing.
Me: just wondering to self what that means to lost to ask
Dr: WELL, lay back let's check the heart beat... Oh you're having one now....
Me: Yup.
Dr: It's from me checking you....
Me: Ummm... ya I don't want to tell you but I've been having them all day...
Dr: Well try to keep her in till the 19th, stay down till then. Though she is past the danger part, before if she came we would be worried, now there wouldn't be those worries. You'll need to know these 5 things and if any of these things happen come into the hospital or call us.
1. bleeding
2. water breaks
3. contractions 5 minutes apart
4. baby not moving...

** not sure if he actually said a 5th one or not I can't remember**
I also start to see him every week now. Meaning I get checked again Monday. Which means Monday will be another very long painful day. I had contractions and cramping so bad all day, I wanted to cry. Totally worth it, just wondering how much has changed at the next appt.

Quick little post.

I'll have to post about my 35 Week Dr's appointment soon. But for now I'm just letting you know that Shannon over at Eat, Pray, Love....LIVE! is hosting a giveaway for a "30 day supply of the supplement of their choice" from BestPriceNutrition.com. I'm thinking I'd want to try out the New Chapter Super Critical Holy Basil (uplift, calming, and balance) supplement... sounds great to me... but the others sound good too! You should check her blog out if you haven't!

35 Weeks!

**I will be posting pictures later, probably tomorrow with the baby shower post**

How far along? 35 Weeks!! This is my last week being 8 months!!

Baby's size and stats? Our baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that she's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds! Info taken from pregnancy.com

Gain? Will Find out on Monday! At my 35w2d check-up! But it had been 22lbs total so far.

Maternity clothes? Really depends though on days where it isn't freezing freakin' cold I love to wear dresses and leggings.

Sleep? Sleep is getting better, I get up once to go pee now which is great, though I do wake up every time I have to turn.

Foods I am loving? Apples!

Foods I am hating? Same as always.

Best moment this week? I'm hoping that will be today at the baby shower!!

Movement? Guess I'll post my story here, I'm pretty sure she has dropped. Actually I know she has. Sunday night I was turning and as always had a really bad pain in the pelvic area and such, I was waiting for my hip to pop as it normal does, but this time there was a different pop, it was in that pelvic area. The pain was then gone, and when I woke up miss Abigail and her home have definitely shifted down quite a bit. Oh and she's always a wiggle worm, especially if her puppy is laying on my tummy. She knows it's him, and she knows when it's daddy.

Symptoms/Emotions? 1. Emotional wreck comes to mind.
2. Peeing a lot.
3. Pain down there.
4. Nausea.
5. We'll call them the "getting to the end jitters".
6. Contractions.

Gender? A GIRL

What I'm looking forward to?Maybe my shower today. We'll see how that goes. My appt on Monday.

Milestones:Making it to 35 weeks, on Tuesday that will be 5 yes FIVE whole weeks that I've kept her in since the L&D experience. It's been a hard 5 weeks but I'm definitely glad we've made it this far!
