My Girl

Have I told you lately how much I love this little girl?
This picture was taken on the way to see my husband's little sister's daughter. So I guess my husband's niece? I bet you're wondering why I don't just say my niece. I still don't feel like that with my husband's family, though things are getting tons better.  The dress she's wearing is one that's a work in progress, I also made the big ol' pink flower on top her head. Which reminds me. My dad is calling her Little Miss Daisy, lately. Why? "she always has a flower growing out the top of her little head", at least thats what my dad says. This little girl makes every stretch mark, and ya'll know that I have quite the amount of stretch marks, wait you don't? Well this is what my tummy looks like....
....

Wait for it

....

ya that's my tummy, a full on freakin' zebra with all it's stripes :)

anyway as I was saying before, this little girl makes every zebra stripe, every extra pound, and just everything about life better. I love my zebra stripes, it shows that I grew and grew and that she grew and grew also. Every extra pound shows that both her and I ate and continue to eat well. Just life is wonderful having her here.

I love her.

Tasty Tuesday

Mexican Casserole

Package Egg Noodles
Can of Chili
Onion
Green Bell Pepper

Cook noodles according to package. Cook ground hamburger, onions and green bell peppers together.
Add chili, salsa, and  corn to meat mixture. Add the meat mixture to the egg noodles. Place in 9 * 13 pan. Sprinkle cheese on top. Cook in 350* oven till cheese is melted on top. I thought that some crushed up tortilla chips would taste great on top with the cheese.

Eleven

Eleven. That number seems so big, yet so small. That number is the age of my baby girl... well eleven weeks to be exact. She is growing so much and it makes me want to have another one-- right now. Okay, so that can't happen and I want her to have at least a year of being the only baby in our house before we start thinking about "making" a new one. I can't believe how fast time is flying with her. Anyone know any secrets as to how to stop her from growing so fast? Shes in an awkward stage right now, for her, she's more aware than ever, she's even starting making kissing sounds towards us after we kiss her. I LOVE it. She's started teething a bit too. Yes, she's still young, I don't think she'll pop a tooth through anytime soon, but its working on finding its way out. The amount of drool that comes out of her mouth is crazy! She's also biting while nursing, and chewing on her hand all the time! There's even a cute little hard bump on her bottom right gum, (my left when she's facing me). I'm so excited for ICLW, I really hope to get more followers and to find new blogs to follow as well!

Tasty Tuesday

This is my first Tasty Tuesday! I'm planning on writing my recipes out on Tuesdays & Thursdays, to maybe give you some new ideas for dinner!!

Two Mustard Chicken
 Dijon Mustard
Coarse Ground Mustard
Honey
Chicken Breasts

Preheat oven to 350*.
I like to cut my chicken breasts into chunks, but you can do as you please (i.e. strips, or leaving it whole). I also have used frozen chicken breasts as well.
Anyway, mix the 2 mustards and honey together until you have a taste that you like. I like to add a little extra honey to my mustards. Place chicken into 9*13 pan or small depending on the amount of chicken you are using.
Pour mustard mixture over. Cook for about an hour or until chicken is completely cooked.
I like to serve this chicken with rice!

Sorry there aren't any pictures. Next time I make it I'll upload some!

Baby Blessing

My beautiful little girl was dressed in white today, well of course she had a pretty pink headband on.

Her great-grandmother, Liz, made her this dress out of the left over material from the wedding dress she made for me.

Her dad did an amazing job blessing her. She was so lucky to have her Great-Grandpa Seegmiller, Grandpa Brent, Grandpa Kirt, and Bishop Kimber to be in the circle.

Her grandma bought her this beautiful cocktail dress to wear to her luncheon after.

She enjoyed her party :)
