Blog Hoppers.

Hey there!
If you're stopping by from the Blog Hop,
check out my About Me Page
or maybe some of these posts

or feel free to wander!

Today I shared a fun tutorial on using Picasa to watermark
your photos that you already have on your blog!
Thanks for stopping by!

Let me know you stopped by, I'd love to stop by your blog too!

Picasa Web Albums: Watermarking.

So I don't know about you, but I constantly check to see what brings people to my blog. Sometimes images do, and sometimes I realize that image wasn't watermarked.
*GASP!*

I don't want to go back to that post, and take the pic down, watermark it & then put it back up, that'd take way too long to go through all the pictures!
I found a super easy way!

Now this works if you use Blogger.

First things first, sign into blogger.
Then go to
 https://picasaweb.google.com
(in another tab preferably!)

These are all the albums you have, look for the one with the Blogger symbol next to it, and open that one up!

Now this shows all of the pictures you have uploaded through blogger!

Click on whatever picture it is you want to watermark.

Where the top arrow is, you'll find Action then click on Edit in Creative Kit.

So where the blue arrow is it says "Text" click on that & it'll give you the options that the orange arrow is pointing at.

Now just type in what you want the watermark to say in (blue arrow), choose the font you like, click add & then you can change the font color, size & rotate it how ever you'd like.

Then just mess with the Fade bar (by the red arrow). Click "Save to my album in the top right corner, it'll ask if you want to replace the original  photo, click "Replace".

And there ya have it. A beautifully watermarked photo.
Now if you go & find this photo on your blog it will be watermarked!

Sunday Social.

Sunday Social

1. What is your dream job?

I've got it, SAHM. Being with A is the most amazing thing. I love being able to see her grown & learn. We do a little of everything though. I sew & do other things & occasionally sell what I create. It's perfect.

2. If you had just won the lottery and didn't need to work for money, what would you do with your time?

Vacation. Seriously. I need a vacation. We've gone on only a few over night ones, nothing very long or relaxing. I'd leave Utah. Go somewhere... awesome!

3. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A teacher. I love kids. I even started studying Elementary Education in college.

4. What piece career advice would you give to someone just starting out in your field?
Well as a SAHM, I'd definitely say, take your time & it doesn't have to be perfect.

5. Biggest Pet Peeves either in life or in blogging or at work
Bloggers that don't reply to emails. I mean I can understand not replying to comments and some emails, but ones that are asking questions or needing help, what the heck!?

6. Biggest Fears
Something happening to A or my husband. & Bugs, being on or near me.

Skin & Nails.

Have you guys seen or even tried The Burning Face Mask?

I first saw it on Pinterest
which reminds me, are you following me yet?

Lately my face has gone crazy, breaking out left & right.
So I figured eh, what the heck I have all the ingredients.

So pretty much you put it on your face for half an hour or as long as you can last, and it's supposed to be great for your face even fading acne scars. Cute pic right?

Anyway, it didn't burn. I've done it 3 times now,
increasing the lemon juice each time to what it's supposed to be
& nothing.
Though I have noticed that my skin is looking better
(pic to come in a future follow up post).

What products or masks do you use to help your skin?

Sally Hansen- Oxide & Julep- Daisy

What polish colors are you loving?

Squeals & Cupcakes

It's Okay

That I squeal a little every time I see a new follower of my blog.
(It's nice to see all my hard work pay off)

That A & I had a lazy day yesterday, we both hung out in lazy day clothes, me-yoga pants & a tank top, her- a onesie.
(It was a cleaning day)

That some days this week have had 2 posts, I've had lots to say this week.

That I ate a few okay 5 of those cupcakes I posted about.

That I tell my dog to "Please find a new home" when he barks FOR NO REASON & wakes A up, putting her in a very very bad mood.
(I'm only joking with him)

  Really, It's Okay.

Its Ok Thursdays

P.S. Super fun WoodRoze Sunglassses giveaway here!

Four Eyes.

Random fact about me. I wear glasses. Well I should at least. I started wearing them in elementary school. Just for reading though. I wore them off & on through out Junior High & High School. I never really felt comfortable in them though, so I mainly wore them when I hid in my room. I don't know why though, plenty of people in my family have worn or do wear glasses. My dad has ALWAYS had them, my mom had readers & now wears them ALL the time.

My sweet husband, Skyler wears eyeglasses too. He loves them. He used to just wear contacts, but now has decided he'd much rather wear glasses. Which I don't quite understand, I still find it silly to wear glasses. So what if I'm a little uncomfortable?

Maybe I should go get my eyes checked. I'm sure I SHOULD be wearing at least reading glasses. Who knows, maybe I SHOULD be wearing  multifocal glasses by now. Whatever it is, I'm sure I SHOULD go find out. Maybe soon. Seeing as we do have Vision Coverage now. (Isn't that awesome?! I know I'm getting excited over insurance, but whatever! We haven't had Vision or Dental in the last 3 years, you best believe I'll be hitting up the Dentist when I get the courage too!)

Anyway, like most of you I like to shop online so I figured I'd look around and see if I could shop for or even buy eye glasses online. You know what? You can. I was super excited, because I don't have to go in and get my eyes checked just to try on some glasses.

Super fun right? If you didn't try it, you really should. I spent WAY too much time playing around with it!

What do you think? Anyway, go check out
and have some fun like I did.

Decide to buy some?

The Last Few Days.

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

I don't know what it is lately that's got me down.

Okay so I lied, I do.

We started the TTC roller coaster a few months back, we're just barely starting the ride. I thought I could be stronger this time around, but you know what, it still hurts.

Pregnancy announcements from friends make me so happy, I really am so very happy for them. Pregnancy announcements from my super fertile family, meh not so much. Pregnancy scares from in-laws, meh even less, what's with that family?

I don't know what it is.

Lying again.

It's because we're starting over again, & I'm not sure I'm strong enough.

What hurts most and has put me in a strange rut this week, was a couple things my husband has said.
"Are you baby hungry, because I am, I want to have another baby in the house now."

"Is anything growing in there, is there something in there growing to join our family?"
(While so kindly poking at the fat on my stomach.)

I know this is just the start of our journey, but how long this one will be, I don't know.
It'd be much easier to have a timeline to just look at & go, oh I see THAT is when it's going to happen. Then just go on planning on that.

Honestly, 25/30 days I'm fine, I'm cautiously optimistic. I don't get my hopes up, I remember all that I have and so appreciative for that. It's just the last few that bring me down.

The last few that have me pondering whether I'm up for this journey again or not.
It's during the last few that I pray a little harder, squeeze my husband just a bit tighter, give my daughter hugs & kisses just a bit more often.

It's the last few days that I find myself clinging to my support group the friends I have made through blogging.

Knowing I can come to my blog & be me, or just escape gives me a little extra push through the last few days.

House Problems.

About a year ago, little problems started popping up with our house. Oh the joys of owning a home. Don't get me wrong, I love my house. I love knowing that it's mine. I love that I can have a dog & hang pictures on the wall. I love that I can change the paint color as often as I want. I can do what I want, because it is my house.

Anyway, with all the problems popping up with our house & the fact that my husband worked an hour and a half away, we wanted to start looking for a new house. Now that he has a job that's only about half an hour out, we decided we want to wait and save up for a nicer, bigger house. A new build.

When we started looking for our current house, things fell into place nearly perfectly. We were able to get the Tax Benefit for First Time Home buyers. Also, mortgage rates were pretty low. About half what they were when my cousin & his wife bought their town house.  We were set on building two different house before we got this house. We love this neighborhood.

I don't know if I want to move out of it.
We're planning on staying at least another year here, so we can fix everything up.
We're already building our dream home out in our heads.

A porch.
Great land.
Not too big of a city.
Great schools.
Great yard.
3 car garage.

I just hope that the low mortgage rates  that are floating around now, are still around when we start looking again. Well seriously looking. I've found some beautiful houses, that I want! Henry Walker homes are gorgeous. Oh how I love visiting them!

If you were building your dream home, what would you want in it?

Hey Friends!

Oh &  $15.00 Gift Certificate to a super cute shop, over here today!

Going Back to School.

When I was 16, my family packed up & moved from California to Utah. I was just starting my Junior year of high school, and wasn't sure I was looking forward to going to a new school, let alone a public school.

It was so hard to try & fit in, in a new state. I grew tired of people assuming we had palm trees all over our yard, that I surf & many other interesting stereotypes they had for Californians.

All that happened right before school started, so I decided to see what it would take for me to graduated at the end of my Junior year. I took a few extra classes, went to night school & you know what, I graduated at the end of my Junior year.

I was given some scholarship money for accomplishing my goal, and then quickly took that check & registered for my first year in college. I had just turned 17. I was excited, terrified. A little of everything.
I was starting to burn out, working two jobs & going to school full time.

I took a semester break then went back at it, that's when I met my sweet husband. I continued to do school the first year or two that we were married. Then I finally got pregnant in the middle of a busy summer semester. I was so sick, I couldn't stand to look at the computer screen, and that's when my motivation with school left.

I didn't return after that semester. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to go back to school. Sometimes I wander the internet looking for scholarships and find websites.

Websites that have SO many different scholarships. Both my husband & I have used scholarships & grants to help pay for college. Sometimes they have been small, but every bit helps.

ScholarshipsOnline.org was one of the websites I came across. I spent some time wandering the different categories. Dreaming about all the different directions I could go if I went back to school. Culinary arts, Cosmetology, Computer Science are just a few. It was super easy & fun to move around this site & see what I could do.

I remember my dad telling me to "use whatever I can" to benefit me for a scholarship, being half mexican, being a woman. Whatever I could think of, he was sure there was a scholarship for that, and you know what there was & still is.

Maybe I'm unsure about finishing up school or staying home, all I know is that if I decide to go back, I will be looking for scholarships and grants.

ICLW: Welcome!

And we're onto the 21st already! I can't believe how fast time is going!

IComLeavWe

Big shout out to the ICLW'ers today, so excited to find more blogs & check in on other's that I've visited before!
Last month I gave a quick update to let you in on what's been happening & and that's what I'm going to do again!

A is 16 months old, going on 17
(goodness! did I really just type that?!)
We are starting Cycle #4 of TTC #2.

The game plan for right now, is just track & see if my cycle can get on to some sort of pattern.

With stopping BC almost 4 months ago, & stopping nursing about a month and a half ago, I'm hoping that since there haven't been any drastic changes in the last month and a half that my body will figure things out quickly so we can get a better idea of what our game plan should be.

Other than that, I'm doing the mom thing, watching A grow & develop an amazing personality. Every day she changes so much.

What have you been up to?

Yoga Pants, Spiders & Chocolate Cake

It's Okay
To wash my yoga pants every morning so I can wear them later that afternoon.

It's Okay
To count 10 min of yoga as a workout, because well you're tired & just starting up working out again.

It's Okay
To laugh when I catch A coloring on the wall because her dad wasn't watching her like he was supposed to.

It's Okay
To stare at the computer screen for 10 minutes because I can't remember what in the heck I was going to do.

It's Okay
To put off laundry today because I just saw a spider crawling on the ceiling of the basement & there is no way I'm walking under it.

It's Okay
To have a crazy looking craft/computer room, because A & I love to "create" in there. (Can't wait to show you guys what we've been working on!)

It's Okay
To be obsessed with Heroes on Netflix right now, like I was obsessed with Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Army Wives, Private Practice, Supernatural.... and so on. Any other Netflix suggestions?

It's Okay.
To be heading to grab a slice of chocolate cake for breakfast after this is all posted & linked up!
