3 Things Thursday.

When I first saw today's 3 Things, I wasn't sure what the heck to put down. Then I remembered that The Mr. & I had actually talked about this at dinner once. We brought up random things that probably don't really surprise people but maybe more like something they wouldn't have guessed.
So here it goes:

3 Things People Would Be Surprised to Know About Me

1. I have a tattoo.
(Not a big deal right? Well it's shocking to most people that find out)

2. I had my nose pierced before I met the Mr.
(Got bored & took it out, was short lived.)

3. The Mr. & I met online.
(I know a lot of people have met online [YAY!] but, people seem surprised that we met when I was just 18 & he was 21. They always say "Oh I thought online stuff was just for 'old' people.")

So there you have it, 3 random things you probably wouldn't guess about me if you were just meeting me!

What's something I wouldn't guess about you?

Pregnancy Catch Up! Weeks 2-15!

I can't believe I haven't done a pregnancy update post with pictures. I mean I let you in on the secret here, but other than that nothing really. It's not that I don't have pictures, I do have 7 or so, to share. It's just like last time though, I was really sick in the beginning, you learned that here. But this time around I have my toddler by my side, so most of my time up until a few weeks ago was spent trying to survive.

Well it's time to catch up!

I got lucky & actually have a picture of myself at 2 weeks pregnant. Meaning, we had no idea if things would work. We were on our way to a basketball game & decided that I better make sure my outfit looks okay. So there you have it, 2 weeks pregnant!

I feel like I it really depends on your outfit at first, whether or not your belly is showing. I mean I really don't feel like I popped till closer to 20 weeks & even then I feel like I wasn't noticeably pregnant until probably 22 weeks.

Well anyway, this post is about those first umm... we'll just go with 15 weeks.
Boy were those weeks challenging, but worth every moment.

Getting our first 2 Ultrasound pictures, seeing & hearing her heartbeat.

Amazing.

Clinging to the toilet for dear life, meh that wasn't too fun.
Having my toddler know that you throw up in the toilet, eh, still not fun.

In these first 15 weeks, I got to see my little girl grow up so fast, watch her learn & show love & try to understand what I was going through.

I got to see my husband show support, and beam with excitement. Even though he was stuck doing dishes, cooking and cleaning. He never complained.

We knew what to expect. That's why we waited till A was closer to 2 before starting to try again. We knew we had to be prepared for all day long sickness (again), and lack of energy. Let's just say an overall feeling of death. I'm sure some of you understand that feeling.

Anyway in those first 15 weeks, our family grew. Not just in number but in love & support.

Spring on the Mind.

I don't know about you, but I'm so glad it's Spring. I know lots are still getting snow & cold weather, I know we've dropped down about 20 degrees the few days or so, but it's not much longer till we get to BBQ, go swimming & tan. (Can't wait for a nice summer tan, that's not from a bottle.) When thinking of this post, all I could think was random thoughts. Random thoughts about Spring. About this Spring. So here you have it:

10 Things Spring.

1.Finally seeing some good weather in the near future.
2. My yard is finally being worked on & will be finished.
3. My birthday.
4. My trip to Vegas!
5. Playing outside with A.
6. Wearing shoes that are cute & not just warm.
7. Finally seeing pretty flowers in yards.
8. No more heavy snow storms.
9. Taking the occasional walk through the neighborhood.
10. Having a reason to have my toe nails painted all cute!

What do you think of when you think about this Spring?

It's Okay.

Its Ok Thursdays

It's okay:

To have probably 100 pictures like this on my computer!
Sometimes she gets really cute pictures of herself!

That Bloglovin' finally got me back to reading & commenting on blogs, so much easier!

That I still haven't finished up A's 2 year old post.

That I still haven't gotten her 2 year old pictures from my (Future) SIL. I'll get them eventually right?

To have dishes over flowing in the sink every other day. How do they pile up so fast?!

To be counting down the days till we leave to Vegas to see my sister & her family!

To think you had more pictures to post with this post but nope.

Oh, how Pinteresting: Random.

I usually like to have some sort of theme to my posts, but today I'm just sharing some of the pins I've found & loved lately.

Would love something like this in the girl's room.
via

Been trying to think of a way for A to do a canvas painting for our house, this looks like the perfect way!
via

I actually found a place that has these huge frames cut out already. Definitely NEED one (or 3) for my house!
via

I've decided I need more accessories in my life. Ones that I just love.
via

After hubs got his hair cut last night, I can't stop thinking about getting my hair trimmed. Love the curls in her hair! Also love the lighter color. My hair has never been an overall lighter color like this, definitely thinking about trying it.

Via

Can't wait to see what you've pinned!

Oh & P.S. If you're like me, you're Bloglovin' #'s could use help or you're just looking for new blogs to follow, here is an awesome link up I found!

Monday Listicles: My Awesome Husband.

This was such a great list idea! I've been thinking about all the great things about the Mr. all week! It really seemed to make the week better! Should try & do that more often!

10 ways The Mr. is Awesome

1. He'll clean up all the gross stuff. (Let's not get into detail here.)

2. He takes care of any bugs that are in the house.
3. He'll stop working to watch a show or play a game with A.
4. He has my same sense of humor. (We laugh till we cry ALL the time.)
5. He makes dinner if I'm just not feeling it.
6. He makes sure to tell A & I that we look beautiful. (Especially after a long day.)
7. He'll attempt a pedicure if I ask. (He'll even try to paint flowers.)
8. He doesn't get between this pregnant gal & her food.
9. He doesn't wimp out when it comes to dirty diapers.
10. He knows that when I need chocolate, I NEED chocolate. (No questions asked.)

Sunday Social.

Sunday Social

1. Favorite thing to do on a rainy day? I LOVE the rain! If it's not too heavy I like to go shopping! If it's a bigger storm, definitely spend the day inside watching movies & playing games!

2. Favorite thing to do on a Summer weekend? My parent's have a pool & a huge yard so we head over there for BBQ's while our yard is a work in progress!

3. Favorite Spring accessory? A cute cardigan!? Ha, I'm just barely starting to think about my Spring style!

4. Favorite way to spend a Winter day? Bundled up inside. Brr. We've had a cold, wet winter! Spent most of my time inside this year!

5. What is your favorite season and why? Ah, it's a tie between Spring & Fall. Love the beautiful spring flowers & the light storms we have BUT I love the warm fall & the changing leaves especially in the mountains!

6. Best birthday you ever had? Probably when I turned 19, the Mr. took me to dinner then to the park where he proposed!

To Do Lists.

Before I had A, I figured I'd have plenty of time to get her nursery all set up, decorated all cute. Everything in order. Well at 30 weeks A & my body had other plans... bed rest. For 7 weeks. Meaning that cute nursery I was planning never happened. Everything in order? Ha! This time around I'm not taking any chances. I've been planning the nursery for my 2 girls for the past 7 weeks now. I have my game plan. I know what needs to be done. What needs to be bought. I will be better prepared this time.  I hope.

You can't exactly predict how things will go, but I want to at least be ready for what I can. So here is section of my list of things that I need to get done before Miss M arrives.

1. Finishing sorting through A's newborn & 0-3 month clothes. Eventually wash & hang them up.
2. Wash all of the toys in the nursery, stuffed animals, hard toys. ALL of it.
3. Wash the rug in the nursery.
4. Make bedding for toddler bed & crib.
5. Organize A's clothes.
6. Buy boxes for their bookshelf.
7. Get the bassinet washed & set up.
8. Make curtains for nursery.
9. Get a Big Sister & Little Sister gift bag for each girl.
10. Wash blankets.

I feel like the list is never ending. I try to just focus on the main rooms, the nursery & my room right now. Making sure things are organized and clean. Obviously the rest of the house has to be cleaned constantly so it didn't make the list. I feel like everything has to be done so close to Miss M's arrival to make sure it's all clean.

What things did you have to do before baby that you never got to?
What things would you suggest doing before baby #2 comes?

Planning B's Bridal Shower

Did I ever tell you that I am the Matron of Honor in my brother's wedding?
If not, then I probably haven't told you that his wedding is 20 days after my due date with Miss M.

Crazy right?

Trying to get this all figured out has been wild. I'll be ordering my dress next weekend and hoping to get some super fast alterations in before. But besides the fact I'll be in the wedding, there's the fact that I'll have some pretty fun things to do before hand. Like ya know, the Bridal Shower. Which will be a week after my due date. Now my Dr is a "If you've made enough progress by your 38 week check we can go ahead and schedule an induction for 39 weeks" type doctor. So I'm hoping she comes on her own before then. Not too early of course. But anyway, before the Bridal Shower, I'm throwing a baby shower for my Sissy. Meaning I've got that to plan too, but I don't need an angry bride.

I'm slowly but surely getting ideas on Pinterest. Here are just a few I've pinned to my board Bridal Shower Ideas Board.

Super cute idea, I might do this but on the sign in table instead! Or Something!!

Have you gone to/hosted/had a bridal shower lately? What did you do? (Send me your post links!) What was so much fun, what sucked? Seriously. Help me out!

Sunday Social Questions!

Sunday Social

This Weeks Questions: Never Have I ever themed
1. What is one movie you are terrified to watch? Honestly, I don't watch scary movies, so I'd probably say, all of them. Ha! I'm sure the Mr. would greatly appreciate it if I would just stop being a baby & watch some scary shows with him!

2. What is one TV show you have always wanted to get into but haven’t yet? Well we just recently started getting into HIMY, love it! Can't believe that we never watched it before!

3. What is one daring activity on your bucket list? Hmmm.... me do something daring or think about doing something daring... uhh, let me get back to you on that!

4. Would you ever travel alone? No, that'd drive me crazy! And now I can't I've got Miss A & then Miss M will be here in July! Also, I'm terrified to travel somewhere very far, or somewhere I haven't been before alone. Makes me so nervous!!

5. What activities do you like to do alone? Take a bubble bath, seriously it's been at least 2 years since I've had one alone, A always comes crying to me that she wants to play too. Work out, I don't like other people watching me at all. Not even my husband. Blog. I get a lot more done and it's done a lot faster if I have time to blog alone.

Buh Bye Razor Burn, Hello smooth legs!

My husband and I used to buy the big value pack of whatever cheap razors we could find. We figured as long as it got the job done it was fine. Well our eyes have definitely been opened and our views as well as our shopping habits have changed.

About 3 weeks ago I got the opportunity to try out the Schick Hydro Silk Razor.

Let's just say I'm in love. This razor has been the best razor I've used in a VERY long time.
The handle is awesome.
The 5 blades made my legs SO smooth. (Still does!)
Seriously, my legs won't let me go back to those crappy razors I was using.

This is my new razor. My skin loves it!
If only the weather would warm up a little bit faster so I could show off my nice smooth legs.

Have you tried this razor yet?
If so, how did you like it?
If not I definitely recommend it!

**I got this product for free through a BzzAgent Campaign! This review is my own!**

Monday Listicles: Proud.

10 THINGS YOU ARE PROUD OF.

1. Myself for graduating from high school the traditional way. I am the first and only child out of 6 in my family to graduate high school! A few of the others have their GED or High School Diploma but through a different way, still proud of them for accomplishing that!

2. My daughter for using pretty good manners at just about 2! Please, thank you, no thank you, excuse me & bless you, are heard coming from her mouth quite often!

3. My husband for getting his Bachelor's degree, he wasn't sure he wanted to but pushed through that and got it!

4. My home. It's not an amazing looking house, and it's not decorated amazingly either, but it feels like a home when you come in, and I love it.

5. Myself when I accomplish something. I tend to start something and not finish it, (oops!) so when I can check something off my list (even if it's little like cleaning out a closet) I'm happy for days!

6. My dad. He's always worked his hardest to provide for his family and deserves all the great blessings he's gotten and continues to receive!

7. My hair! Ha, I am slowly but surely growing it out!

8. My blog, it's the longest I've kept a journal & though it's not perfect it's definitely a great way for me to save memories!

9. My marriage, it's definitely seen some rough times but it's survived!

I'm going to stop right here at 9! Those seem like just enough!

What is something you are proud of?
