Pregnancy Catch Up: Weeks 16-25

Time for another Pregnancy Catch Up post. You can read about the first 15 weeks here.

Weeks 16- 25 were great weeks. My stomach was starting to feel better, starting to look more pregnant than fat and my body was not yet hurting. My energy wasn't really there but it happens.

I can't believe I'm already at week 33 as I write this, and I'll be 34 weeks this coming Saturday. Really? Ha. I feel like I'm always questioning if I'm saying the right week.

In weeks 16-25 I took it easy. I enjoyed the cooler days. The ability to layer clothes without feeling too hot. We did our Anatomy scan at 20 weeks and got a better view of our little girl's parts so we could know for sure she was going to be our little girl and not a little boy. I actually had a 16 week appt that included an ultrasound and both Dr. M & I figured it she was a she, just little Miss was too wiggly then crossed her legs so tight we couldn't see anything. Just like her sister.

I feel like these weeks were just popping up yesterday. Can't believe we're so close to the end.

Three Things Thursday: Foods I hate

3 Things you hate to eat

Tomatoes.

So this one was easy, I'm allergic to tomatoes so it's not hard to avoid them, but really the few times people have snuck them onto my sandwiches even though they were told not to, I hate the taste.

Liver & Onions.

My mom used to make this at home quite often. Gag! The flavor isn't all that bad but it just smells and looks awful and the texture is gross. Just eww.

Squash.

There's something about the soft, mushy inside that just turns me away. I've tried. I just can't do it.

What are a few foods you hate?

Time goes by fast.

I feel like this year is flying by. I mean it's already almost June. Can you believe it? I know I can't.

It's been over a month since A & I took this picture in Las Vegas.

It's been a couple weeks since we've gotten our vinyl fence up, making the yard enclosed & a bit safer for A & her puppy Scout to play in.

You might have read this Spring Cleaning post, a month ago, where I felt totally overwhelmed by all that needed to be done in my house.

Well guess what, I figured it out. I started making weekly lists of things I wanted to get done, and started doing it.

The nursery no longer looks like this.

Sadly, that was after a ton of cleaning was done. It looks like this now.

It actually is ready for all the fun things I've ordered, to arrive and be set up.
All of Miss M's clothes Newborn - 3 months have been washed folded & hung up.

It's coming fast. I remember people telling me while I was pregnant with A that the last trimester would drag on, it flew by then & it's flying by now. Less than 4 weeks left till I'm full term. She could be here in less than 4 weeks. Crazy right?

What have you been up to?

Listicle #100!!

First off, yay for 100 Listicles! Love the topic idea! "why listicles are great "

And in no particular order:

My 5 Reasons "why listicles are great!"

1. The amazing people you meet, I mean who doesn't absolutely LOVE Stasha? (Follow her on Instagram if you don't already, absolutely wonderful pictures EVERY time.

2. The thinking it makes you do. I mean really, sometimes I have no idea what to post about, figure I'll check out what Monday Listicles topic is and it gets my brain going. Helps break up writers block quite amazingly!

3. Listicles actually got me into making more lists at home. Making my life much better and easier.

4. The ability to post whenever you want & link up when you want during the week. Let's face it, I suck at remembering to link up to a linky party, I can get the post written and scheduled weeks ahead, but remembering to actually link up? Ha!

5. They just are. I mean really, what more of an explanation do you need?

CONGRATS ON 100!!!

2 years old!

**Oh heck! I can't believe I haven't posted this yet! Seeing as she turned 2 in March! It's been done and ready just never hit Publish!!**

My sweet baby A,
It's been 2 years since you joined our family. I can't believe how much you've grown, changed and learned. You talk so much, and have such a sweet, wild personality.

At your 2 year old well check you measured in at:
26 lbs
34 inches

You have lots to say! You've even started saying phrases! Here's a few of the phrases we get to hear:

no, juice please.
nana, B, puppy play
play blocks
play ball
baby nigh night
blues clues show
mouse show please
bless you
thank you
excuse me
daddy cereal
more juice

and I know I'm miss quite a bit!

You throw quite the temper tantrums, you like to bite and scratch, they don't last long but they are wild to watch. So glad you're showing your emotions so well. We definitely know happy, sad and angry very well! Even frustrated, you like to growl.

Three Things Thursday: Movies

Hosted By: {Myranda and Kristyn}

 3 of your favorite movies

1. Napoleon Dynamite!

Lately as I'm writing my list of what to bring in my hospital bag, I've been thinking of all the things I had with A. Napoleon was one thing my mom & sister brought, we watched it a few times at the hospital, even the nurses and doctor stopped for a min every once in a while to laugh at something on this movie. Definitely lightens the mood.

2. My Best Friend's Wedding.

I just love Julia Roberts, so it's more like this or any of her other movies I have to sit down and watch!

3. The Other Guys

Another movie I could watch over and over again! My parents went and saw it in theaters and told the Mr. & I about it, so as soon as it was out we rented it and fell in love. It's just one of those stupid movies. I can't explain it! Love it!
