{Beauty Routine} & Natural Facial Moisturizer Review.

It wasn't too long ago that my beauty routine was pretty sad. I'm not saying I didn't wear make up, or that I just did the same thing every day. My routine was missing some- what I now consider crucial- pieces, or should I say products.

Vitamin C Serum.

Can you believe that those 3 things were NOT part of my routine?
Well thankfully, I slowly started adding them in! First it started with making sure I was getting my skin moisturized. Amazing difference. Lately my favorite moisturizer is the Adovia Moisturizing Day Cream.

One thing that caught my eye is that it is recommended to use under makeup! Win! I always wear makeup. Seriously. I couldn't even tell you a time that I would be caught without it. A quality is moisturizer was just what my skin and makeup needed. This cream, is beautiful to look at and put on. I love how thick it is, I love how smoothly my makeup goes on over it.

What is your favorite moisturizer?

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Relationship Status: { Married }

I love writing about my family and I have this wonderful man to enjoy my family with.

I just recently wrote a post about our 6 Years of Marriage. I packed it full of pictures and what we've learned over the last 6 years, so today I wanted to share some things you might not know about us.

We met online. Myspace. We met almost 11 months later, at a Barnes & Noble.

Our first date, we saw Awake and I stole a goodnight hug in a light flurry of snowflakes.

Every year we try and pick up a movie for our anniversary. It's sort of our thing.

We were married exactly 8 months after he asked me to be his girlfriend.

We went through the LDS Salt Lake City Temple on our 3rd Wedding anniversary, to be sealed as a family. We had the amazing experience of bringing Miss A, (5 months old) with us.

We tell each other everything. He's my best friend, literally. If I need to gossip or just vent and my sister is busy, I find him. He's learned to just listen and not react unless asked to. It's perfect.

{Review} Exfolimate

Sunless tanner. Face masks- especially exfoliating masks. Things that make me feel a little better about myself. So when I got the chance to review the Exfolimate I was super excited! The Exfolimate is used to provide a deeper cleansing, and enhance exfoliation of your skin. So pretty much you wet your skin, I used these in the shower and you slide them over your skin.

I was pretty skeptical at first, I'm kept thinking, these things look crazy. Well, I've enjoyed them, and my husband has enjoyed using them before he shaves. I'd definitely say they do what they say they will! They help exfoliate your skin in a gentle way.

Fall Flavors.

I'm so glad it's finally September! I love the cooler weather and watching the colors changing on the mountains, but there is one thing I'm really looking forward too.

The food. Mostly the baking, so like the crazy pinner I am I've been wandering Pinterest looking for some new yummy recipes to try this fall & winter. Head on over to my Fall Desserts Board & see what I've found.
I'm really looking forward to trying some new pumpkin desserts this fall. I love pumpkin and am so lucky that most people in my family love it to! Though they are always willing to try whatever dessert I bring!

What are your favorite desserts to make/eat during the fall?

Monday. Music.

My house is quiet. Well almost. If you listen very carefully, over The Princess Frog, you'll hear two very sleepy babies snoring. We've had a rough Monday morning over here. My nephew is going through a nasty little mean boy phase, and my baby had to get blood work done this morning. Kind of just ruined the whole day, so to hear them sleeping so peacefully is music to my ears.

Exactly how I've been feeling today.

Music. Let's talk about it.Everyone is so different when it comes to music, that I absolutely love hearing what people like to listen to.

For example my sweetheart loves metal and rap, but you'll catch him singing to the Frozen soundtrack with my girls as loud as they can.

In the morning I turn on Spotify and listen to our mixture of songs. We have oldies "I Will Always Love You"- Whitney Houston. We have newer songs "Royals"- Lorde. We have country Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, George Strait. We have songs from soundtracks: Frozen, A Walk To Remember, Despicable Me 2

Seriously, there is a little of everything on our playlist. Just the way we like it. We don't listen to the radio very often if at all, so I'm not sure what the newest songs are, but the songs that get my girls singing and dancing are played over and over again, and beat out any new songs.

I cannot wait for Christmas music to be on though. I absolutely LOVE Christmas music and am hoping my girls will love it just as much! What type of music do you listen to? Do you have a favorite song?

{Review} Garlic Press

I enjoy the flavor of garlic. I've added powdered, and jarred garlic to recipes.  One thing I don't remember doing in a long time is adding fresh garlic to a recipe. The last time we had a garlic press in the house, I lived with my parents. I've been married for over 6 years now, so it's been a while.
So when I got the opportunity to review a garlic press I was thrilled!

The first time I used this was to add a little flavor to a potato, egg, and bacon breakfast scramble my sister was making. Oh boy, was it awesome! It was super easy to use, and easy to clean! I love it! I now try and find more recipes that include garlic in it, and love pulling out this beautiful garlic press to get my garlic ready! I definitely recommend this garlic press to those of you who are in the market to get one!

What are your favorite recipes that use garlic?

Currently: Enjoying the Moments.

As this week comes to an end and the weekend is just around the corner, I'm sitting here looking back at all the good we've had this week & want to let you in on what we've been up to.

Preschool started- Miss A loved it. Can't stop talking about it, makes me so very happy. I'm so very grateful to live in such a wonderful neighborhood, one that is very open and helping with each other. This Joy School is just what we need to get Miss A involved with kids her age, and to help her get started in the schooling path.

This little stinker is starting to talk more and more, love her little voice. I'm really so very blessed to have two very sweet, loving little girls. I take this one in for blood work next week to check her iron levels, fingers crossed that we can start to cut down on it and eventually phase off of it completely. So glad we figured out what was bothering her, she's so much happier now.

Five Currently:

Reading: Fated- Alyson Noel, just about 8 pages in and I'm curious whether or not I can actually get into this book. That being said I'm about to make our weekly trip to the library either tonight or tomorrow, what books are you loving right now?

Eating: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies. Cannot stop making them.

Thinking: About what the future has in store for us. There are so many things constantly changing around here and things are finally only going up for us, that I can't wait to see what the rest of the year is going to bring to us.

Planning: Our little painting and kitchen back splash projects. Can't wait to see it all come together. Also, Preschool will be at my house in a month! I'll be teaching the letter "R" and about the weather! All ready making fun little things for them! Super excited!

Watching: Princess and the Frog, Miss A has been asking for a couple days to watch it, finally caved. Also, I'm loving Master Chef & Mistresses (didn't think I'd get into it!).

{GF} Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love fall. I love pumpkin. I love baking. So when I found this recipe on Pinterest, I just knew I had to make them. We're gluten free at our house so we switched it up and changed some things to fit us and what we had in our pantry.

Feel Free to Pin this Picture or the Recipe below!

Now we used Bob's Red Mill GF Flour, and Xanthan Gum, but I'm sure another kind would work great. If there is Xanthan gum already added into the flour mixture leave out the 1/2 tsp from the recipe.

Pin Me for later!

I hope you enjoy these! I know my family really has !

{Day 1} Joy School.

Friends, my big girl had her very first day of Joy School today.

She was so excited to get up and get ready for her day. She picked out her outfit, packed her mouse backpack {with a penguin} and got ready to go. She also left me at the door, didn't even need me to come in with her. Made me so proud. Absolutely love watching her and her confidence grow.

She absolutely loved it, and keeps telling me that she learned about her "special letter" today. Everything is about the letter "A" today. I thought she loved it before, but after sharing it with her friends, she is addicted to it now!

So with school starting, and with it coming to my house the first week of October, I'll be sharing what I've been up to while getting my lesson ready, also, I got a chance to make the music box for school and I'll be sharing that soon!

Have you ever done a Joy School in your neighborhood? If so, what types of things did you enjoy doing with the kids?

Happy Wednesday!

{Review & GIVEAWAY} Vita Nut Milk Bag

It was time to make more almond milk and this time I wanted to make more, and experiment with some flavors for the girls, so I pulled out my new Vita Nut Milk Bag and got to work. I followed the same recipes from my Pinterest board and this time just experimented with more honey or more vanilla, and I added chocolate syrup to some as a treat!

I really enjoyed using the Best Nut Milk Bag, it was bigger than the other one I had tried, and loved being able to make a bigger batch faster. I'm not sure what else is left to say other than this was a great product and when I make another larger batch of almond milk I will for sure be using this bag again. Does any one else enjoy making Almond Milk? If so it's your lucky day! You can enter to win on of these bags!!
