One day.

Before you read this you should know what caused it to be written. SJ has had about 6 hours this weekend and 2 hours or more today to work on whatever he has wanted baby free. I just asked for an hour of peace to make bows or blog. When the time came (after dinner) he decided he would go to my parents to work out, figuring my sister L & her bf would watch A for me. They already have Stinky to watch and Stinky was sick so she needed all 3 of us to help. I didn't get that free time, but as he puts it, he made it up to me by bringing me back a Dr. Pepper And he told me that what he does is actually helping us. Not only have I asked for time, I've done all the chores around the house.

One day he'll know, that the laundry doesn't just do itself. It doesn't just walk downstairs, climb in the washer, then dryer, then climb back upstairs and fold or hang itself and walk to where it belongs.

One day he'll know, that the vacuum doesn't clean the floors on it's own.

One day he'll know, our house really does collect dust on shelves and pictures.

One day he'll know, there isn't a dish washer that comes and does our dishes.

One day he'll know the trash doesn't magically move from the insides bins to the outside bin, and that the outside bin doesn't just roll itself to the street on trash night.

One day he'll know that the dog doesn't bathe himself.

One day he'll know that I really do want my bows to sell, I just need time without A helping me create.

One day he'll know that when I ask for a break, it's only because I really really really times a zillion, need a few minutes alone.

One day he'll know that I really do sometimes just need a nap, without A climbing on me and pulling my hair.

One day he'll know that instead of just sitting down watching tv he can actually do something around the house.

Most importantly, one day he'll realize that my blog isn't just something I do for fun. Its a place that I go to meet friends, to find support, to pour my feelings out. It's something that saved me many times from breaking down and freaking out. He'll know that my blog is "helping us".  Like right now, it's helping us avoid an argument, because I know it's better just to write it out to my friends then to bring it up with him.

Have any  "One day" thoughts? Link Up. This is my first time doing a link up on my blog so if there are any problems let me know! This Link Up is open till Dec 31!

Oh & one more thing! If you're a new follower let me know!

Guest Post!

That is a very special good morning from Miss A!

Up close shot bright & early this morning.

So Miss A what have you done this morning?

Well, after my quick morning typing I got ready to go to church, while there I decided to explode on mom, after we got in the car to head home I crashed.

 It was a peaceful nap.

What did you do after your nap?

Well you see I worked on my little blue sports car.

Then I realized Stinky was on the floor. I really wanted her.

Mom sat me next to her and I patted her back.

Next I sat myself up front next to her head.

And gave her a head massage, and maybe tried to pull her hair.

Well ladies, I gotta get back to loving Stinky & playing in mom's stuff, hopefully mom will let me guest post again, I really do love to type.

Christmas Survey

First things first! Make sure you head over to The Preppy Girl in Pink, and check out the giveaway she has going on now, she's giving away my bows! Make sure you follow her if you don't already, she is awesome! A great bloggy friend!

Now I don't remember where I took this from, I'm awful. I thought I copied their URL, so if it was you, let me know I'll add it!

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? I'm addicted to chocolate, so definitely hot chocolate. Though Egg Nog milk shakes are delish too!
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? This will be the first year that Santa is stopping by our house, he will have his gifts wrapped, or at least placed into pretty bags that are easy for Miss A to look into and get her toys out of.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? Clear on the tree. I'm not big into the colored lights. No lights up on the house this year, but I'm pretty sure next year they too will be clear.
4. Do you hang mistletoe? No, never have. Not sure that I know anyone that does. Maybe I'll look into that.
5. When do you put your decorations up? SJ made me wait until Black Friday to do it this year. Last year my tree was up the first week in November, I was lonely and bored at home, pregnant, needed something to do.
6. What is your favorite Christmas dish? I love them all, and I get such a variety in my family, Christmas Eve, will have a sandwich/salad potluck at my Grandparent's (my dad's side), Christmas morning will be breakfast at my parent's, I love waffles. Christmas lunch will be Mexican, with my mom's side. Christmas dinner will be whatever SJ's family makes.
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? Too many to choose from! I remember the year my parents got us one of those big outside playgrounds, and put it up in our bonus room! We could always play on it rain or shine, I still can't believe we had it in our house! I also remember my dad sprinkling reindeer food with me when I was in elementary school! This year will be great too, it will be our first year with miss A. from!
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? My parents said I was very young and I ruined it for my older cousins. Oops!
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? We do! My siblings and I all draw names on Thanksgiving and we buy each other a gift and open it Christmas Eve.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? Right now I'm in love with snowflakes & icicles! Green, silver, and red ornaments hang out with these cute snowflakes and icicles! Oh and white lights.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Love it! I have to. I live in Utah. It snowed till June about 2 years ago. Though traveling more than just a few minutes away is dreadful! People can't drive in the snow!
12. Can you ice skate?HA! That's actually part of one of my posts to come next week! I can't ice skate, the first time I went was with SJ, I held onto the side the WHOLE time.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? Last year I got pearls from SJ, a necklace & earrings for me, and a bracelet for Miss A. She needs to grow into it but it's her when she can wear it.
14. What’s the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Being with my family. And this year Miss A is apart of that. I love them so much and everyone is always very nice on Christmas!
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Christmas cookies! Biscochitos, butter cookies. Everything! Love them!

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? I have a few, I love the Christmas baking, the Christmas Eve gift exchange with my siblings & going to see the Christmas lights with my family. Oh and my mom's family makes gifts for the other families, little Christmas projects, its a great way to show off your creativity, and humor. I think making something is more personal, it's almost better than buying.
17. What tops your tree? Nothing.  Ridiculous right? I haven't found a topper I love.
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? Both.  Receiving, I love to get gifts! Giving, because I love to make stuff for people.
19. Candy Canes: Yuck or Yum? Yum for the most part. I break them up so I can chew on the pieces, sucking on them is just too messy!
20. Favorite Christmas show? This year, Elf!
21. Saddest Christmas Song? "Christmas Shoes".
22. What is your favorite Christmas song? Baby It's Cold Outside, Dean Martin of course. & Do you hear what I hear, anyone but I loved the Rosie & Elmo version!
You should do this survey! Oh and remember check out the giveaway, and if you had this on your blog as a linky, let me know!
