Oh Monday....

Oh Monday how I'm loving what you've brought so far. Wondering what that is?

Something I've been seriously lacking in life. Okay, so I have quick bursts of motivation when it comes to reading or cleaning but other things... like let's say... umm.... exercising, nothing. Never. Well there was one point where I was motivated for quite a while and felt great then my workout shows weren't on Netflix anymore and...

I stopped. I don't know why I lack motivation when it comes to exercising. I just do. Well I did. Something about a picture taken on my daughter's birthday that just got me to say ugh. That's terrible. Do something about it. Stop being unhappy and just give it a try. Now I'm not making any promises and I won't be posting daily about my completed workouts but I am going to give it a try.

Right now I'm working through the Blogilates Beginner's Workout Calendar. Last Monday & Tuesday I got days 1 & 2 in, then used the "No time" and "Family Party weekend" excuses to skip out the rest of the week. Last night I went to bed kicking myself for not going with it, I mean really what's 30 minutes? So this morning I got up and did Day 3. It took me longer than it would have, had I done it during nap time but, it's done.

Here's hoping I can keep this motivation. I can realize that doing this gives me my me"time" and can only improve things for myself and its a good example for my girls. How do you find motivation when you've lost it? Have you done any Blogilates workouts?

Happy Monday!

Sappy Sunday Posts.

Sundays have turned into one of my favorite days of the week. It's the only day where we actually don't do anything other than head to church and spend time as a family. After we've had lunch we set the girls free to destroy one side of the house while we work to pick up the other. It's when the girls think we aren't listening that we get the best moments.

As I peer around the corner or listen just down the hall our 3 yr old watches out for her sister and teaches her how to play. Giggles and bright wondering eyes are almost always the response. My heart heals a little more during these moments. That pain, anger and hate I felt watching people get pregnant once or twice before we were blessed with our first, then again as we waited to be blessed with our second, are slowly being changed.

These two are handfuls for sure but they are my handfuls and I am so grateful for the  moments I get to steal away with them. Watching them grow, learn and play. Hearing them teach laugh and sing.

What are your Sundays like?

Rosetta Translations

I don't know how I do it, but sometimes (probably fairly often to be honest), I follow a link to something I really want to learn how to do, or learn about and BAM! the site is in a different language. Just my luck. Seriously happens all too often. So I start to wander in my thoughts... I wonder what I'm missing.... how can I translate this.... I wonder if they've ever thought about putting their blog in English. Just a whole bunch of random thoughts.

Well did you know, Rosetta Translation is one of many translation agencies around. They specialize in legal, medical, technical and financial language translation. (Websites included!) They are based out of London. I had a great time wandering their site, seeing what they offer. It looks like a great company to work with, especially if you are a business man like my dad is.Just the other day my mom was telling me of the places my dad will travel for work and leisure this year.

Lucky guy gets to hit a bunch of beautiful places that I can only dream of one day heading. London being one of them. (More on that in another post.) Well as I sat talking with her, she told me that my dad would be needing a translator for some of the locations he would be heading. I wonder if they use a company like this one? Have you ever used a translator or translation agency? Have you ever found yourself wandering and end up on a site in a different language?

This post was brought to you from your friends at Rosetta Translation.

Grazia Silicone Mini Muffin Pan Review

I love to be in the kitchen. I make the majority of the meals for our family. One of my favorite things to throw together is meatloaf, more specifically mini-meatloaves. I have the hardest time when it comes to meatloaf sticking to the pan. No matter what pan I use. So when I was given the chance to try our the Grazia Silicone 24 Cup MINI Muffin Pan guess what I chose to make!

Mini meatloaves! Yay! I won't be sharing a recipe because I just start throwing things in the bowl and see how it smells, even though I have an amazing recipe just tucked away in one of my many cookbooks. Here's a little about this muffin pan:

 --non-stick food grade silicone
--extremely easy to clean,
--safe to use in the oven, microwave, dishwasher, or freezer
--heat resistant  up to 450°F.
--FDA Approved
--High Quality Construction
--Manufactured in Socially Compliant Facility

I LOVE this pan. My mini meatloaves were the perfect size, and came out of the pan perfectly! Nothing stuck behind! When it came to cleaning it, seriously easiest thing to clean ever. Tomorrow when I'm making birthday cupcakes, guess what pan I will be using! If you're looking for a new mini muffin pan, definitely consider getting this one, I absolutely love it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for one!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

My Very First: TL;DR

All I have to say is this link-up was made for me. Seriously. Check out what it's all about here.

  • My baby girl is turning 1 on Thursday! Making me kind of baby hungry... eek!
  • We are trying to be cleaner eaters. Gotta start somewhere!
  • We are working on a big house To-Do list. So we can get new carpet.
  • I am painting and redecorating our bedroom! Super excited!!!!!
  • I'm back at reading a ton of books again! Send me suggestions, or Goodreads profile links!
  • Been teaching nursery for a year at church & love it! Looking for fun ideas for the kids!
  • I'm trying to workout again. Main word, trying.

That's pretty much about it for us! If you could give me a quick update in your life what would it be like?
